Barb Esty Kelm Owner/Manager/Stylist/Colorist

Barb discovered her passion for hair styling at a very early age.  After "practicing" on many of her elementary school friends she knew she found her calling.  After successfully graduating from cosmetology school, Barb won her very first hair competition that she entered, and a career was launched.  Besides her 20+ years behind the chair Barb made the successful transition to salon ownership in 2009.  Barb has worked with Aveda for most of her career and loves the results her clients receive from the all-natural/cruelty free product line.   While she enjoys every aspect of running a business, Barb is a passionate stylist with a large faithful following.  Barb prides herself on tailoring a person's look to their lifestyle. She has been called "the master of fine hair," and has worked with clients all over the metro area. 

Adrianna Stylist/Colorist/Hair Extension Expert/Balayage Specialist
Adrianna is a graduate of the Mn. School of Cosmetology. She has taken additional training to be a Hair Extension Expert and LOVES performing all services related to hair.

Alli Stylist/Colorist/Balayage Specialist/

Alli is a passionate stylist and proud Aveda graduate who loves helping her clients feel confident, refreshed, and beautiful when they leave her chair. With a warm personality and a genuine love for connecting with people, she creates an experience that feels both relaxing and personalized for every guest.

She enjoys creating customized color, dimensional blondes, and effortless styles that fit each client’s lifestyle while still making them feel their absolute best. Alli values listening carefully to her guests and working together to create a look they truly love.

Known for her friendly energy and attention to detail, Alli is dedicated to continuing her education and staying inspired by new trends and techniques in the beauty industry. She loves building lasting relationships with her clients and making everyone who sits in her chair feel welcomed and cared for.

Crystal Stylist/Colorist/Blonde Specialist/Balayage Expert/Hair Extension Expert

Crystal is a graduate of the Aveda Institute in Mpls.. She enjoys making her clients feel beautiful and confident about themselves. She loves to take her blondes or want- to- be blondes lighter and brighter. Having natural curly hair herself she is very knowledgable in cutting and styling her curly haired guests. She is very sweet and easy to talk with.

Elle Stylist/Colorist/Balayage Expert/Fashion Color Expert/Hair Extention Expert

Elle is a talented stylist and proud Century Cosmetology graduate with a creative passion for hair and helping her clients express their individuality. She especially loves working with fashion colors and creating fun, vibrant, customized looks that allow her guests’ personalities to shine.

Known for her friendly personality and attention to detail, Elle enjoys collaborating with clients to create hair that feels both beautiful and uniquely them — whether that’s a bold transformation, dimensional color, or a fresh new cut. She is passionate about continuing to grow in the industry and staying inspired by new trends and techniques.

Ava Stylist/Colorist

Ava is a graduate of the Aveda Arts Institute with a deep passion for helping clients look and feel their best. Dedicated to continuous learning and staying on top of the latest trends, Ava aims to bring both artistry and professionalism to every service, making each visit a rejuvenating experience.

Jen Stylist/Colorist/

A graduate of the Aveda Institute of MN, Jen is known for being an attentive listener and making clients feel at ease. She takes the time to explain each step of the service and has a strong eye for color. Jen is dedicated to creating a positive experience for every client who sits in her chair.

Hailey Jo Stylist/Colorist/Balayage Expert

Hailey Jo is a passionate stylist and proud Nova Academy graduate who loves helping guests feel confident and beautiful. With a warm personality and easygoing nature, she creates a welcoming experience for every client who sits in her chair. Hailey Jo enjoys creating lived-in color, dimensional blondes, and customized looks that fit each guest’s lifestyle and personality.

She is excited to be back at Trendi Salon & Spa and can’t wait to reconnect with returning guests while welcoming new faces into her chair!

Bubs Stylist/Colorist
Bubs has been a master stylist for 40 years, which speaks to her dedication to her profession. Bubs says, "I love my job," and she still continues to learn the newest techniques and trends in the hair industry.

Hailey Stylist/Colorist/Balayage Specialist
Hailey graduated from the Aveda Institute Minneapolis in 2013. She loves keeping up with all the new techniques and helping people feel as confident as they should! Updos and color are her favorite things to do. She takes pride in making her clients beautiful.

Katie Stylist/Colorist/Balayage Expert

Katie said she's known since she was 4, and chopped off her hair, along with her Barbie dolls hair, that she has always wanted to be a hairstylist! She graduated from the Minnesota School of Cosmetology in 2014. She specializes in dimensional brunettes and "lived in color" that grows out nicely over time.

Halley Mae Stylist/Colorist/Esthetician

Halley Mae is a licensed cosmetologist and esthetician who brings a warm, friendly energy to every guest she meets. Known for her easygoing personality and approachable style, Halley makes clients feel comfortable, relaxed, and truly cared for from the moment they sit in her chair. She is passionate about helping each guest look and feel their best, whether through beautiful hair services or customized skincare treatments.

Ruth Massage Therapist
Ruth is a graduate of St. Paul College as a certified massage therapist. As a former hairstylist at Trendi Salon & Spa she has returned as a massage therapist with added training in Craniosacral therapy through the Upledger Institute. Ruth is also a licensed and practicing Physical Therapist Assistant in Wisconsin. This training and experience guides her sublime touch and therapeutic presence she brings to every client.

Inez  Salon Assistant

We are so excited to have Inez join the Trendi Salon & Spa team as our salon assistant! Inez is a recent Nova Academy graduate with a passion for the beauty industry and a love for helping people feel their best.

Friendly, hardworking, and eager to learn, Inez brings a positive energy to the salon every day. She enjoys being part of the guest experience and loves assisting our team while continuing to grow her skills behind the chair. Many of our clients may already recognize her, as she has been part of the Trendi family for years as a longtime guest herself!
